The carbon offset program slowly reduces greenhouse gas emissions in our province. This provides us cleaner air and helps mitigate the destructive impact of climate change – damage to our homes, water and forests.

Limiting Pollution

Putting a price on carbon allows individuals to make better choices for the environment. It provides those that pollute an incentive to reduce their emissions – the less you pollute, the less you pay.

Doing Our Part

It is no secret that greenhouse gases cause global warming. In July 2016, global temperatures were the warmest ever recorded. To fight climate change, we must put our heads together and help lower greenhouse gas emissions.
